This has always been a favorite song of mine since the first time I heard it.  The opening line catching your attention, and the music recreates the sounds of a river rolling over rocks, plants, everything in its way and pulling any hapless soul caught in it down into its chilly depths.  This song gave me a real appreciation for the way the music can express some of the same thoughts and moods as the lyrics.
