This is a song I loved from the first time I heard it.  The music and lyrics, overwrought though they may be, struck a chord with me. There's an important message in the song about how there are times when loving [him or her] is easier than anything you'll ever do again, but also times when everything about your partner seems all wrong.  But that if you believe in your partner, and more importantly, in yourself for choosing him or her, the picture will change back again.  Ultimately, we decide which is right and which is an illusion... This song became even more symbolic to me when I was driving out to take a test that would truly affect my entire future.  This song came on the radio, about 2 years after it was a hit, and somehow, seemed like a sign from heaven that I would do fine.  The confidence boost was just what I needed.  I did fine, and have been pursuing that dream ever since.
